Do not apply deodorant, lotion, powder, or perfume on the day of the test, as these particles may appear on the image and may require a repeat scan.
For a screening mammography, choose a time between the 5th and 14th day of your menstrual cycle.
You will be asked to fill out a small form so the doctor can understand your breast cancer risk.
During the test, you will need to remove clothing from the upper body and wear a front-open gown, so it is better to wear two-piece clothing for convenience.
